Starting April 7, 2026, Southwest Airlines has announced it will begin serving Santa Rosa, California’s Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport (STS) from four western cities and will become the 14th destination in California that the carrier serves. The most recent California additions to the route map were Santa Barbara and Fresno in early 2020.
“We aren’t slowing down in our pursuit to provide Customers with more options than ever before,” said Andrew Watterson, Chief Operating Officer at Southwest Airlines. “Adding Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport to our route map provides more access to California’s famed Wine Country for our Customers and further solidifies our years-long commitment to California.”
Southwest will serve Santa Rose from Burbank, Denver, Las Vegas, and San Diego. The Las Vegas and San Diego flights are scheduled daily, including two options on peak days to San Diego. Burbank will see flights five days a week (Thursday through Monday), and Denver will operate on Saturdays only.
