Travelers will soon be able to travel quickly between Las Olas Boulevard and Duval Street. Florida-based Spirit Airlines announced that it will launch new service at Key West International Airport (EYW). This service will provide the only nonstop flights between Key West (EYW) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL), starting on November 6, 2025. The flights will operate four times a week—on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays—and will increase to daily flights beginning December 18, 2025. Additionally, passengers can enjoy easy one-stop connections through Spirit’s main hub, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).

Key West is Spirit Airlines’ eighth destination in Florida, joining Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Fort Myers (RSW), Miami (MIA), Orlando (MCO), Pensacola (PNS), Tampa (TPA), and West Palm Beach (PBI). The Florida Keys provide visitors with a relaxed getaway, featuring a rich history, vibrant nightlife, diverse dining options, and outstanding activities such as diving, snorkeling, and boating.
